Massage therapy can help decrease tension specific to soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Direct, almost immediate results of massage therapy include increased blood flow, an increase in tissue mobility and flexibility, reduced triggerpoint activity and quite often reduced pain. Triggerpoints or adhesions are often referred to as "knots" and can cause local pain as well as radiating sensations and even numbness. By combining massage therapy prior to, or immediately following, a chiropractic treatment, the patient can expect decreased specific symptoms, decreased pain, and increased overall function of the muscular system.

Massage Therapist, David Bloch, works on many people who suffer from these conditions and has had great results in helping people get rid of their pain.
